This place is absolutely mind-blowing! We booked a cheap room and got upgraded to a spacious hotel room. The owner was super friendly and let us leave our luggage even after we checked out. The terrace with free coffee and tea was jaw-dropping, and the location right in front of the old city gate was unbeatable. The staff were so accommodating and even upgraded our room for free since we were traveling with young children. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and a shop with good quality fruits and vegetables downstairs. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the room was clean with a great shower. The free wifi was a bonus!

The decoration of the hotel was charming and had a nostalgic feel, reminding me of my youth. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, making it comfortable for senior people like myself to relax and enjoy. The hotel's accessibility was a major plus, with easy access to the tram and bus stations, allowing us to explore the city and even visit the West Bank effortlessly.

A slightly better vacation experience for senior people would be more signage and assistance from the children working there.

The location of the guest house was great, right in the heart of the city. It was a lively and vibrant area, with lots of local people and tourists around. I enjoyed the cultural diversity and the opportunity to meet people from different parts of the world. The staff at the guest house were friendly and accommodating, making my stay more comfortable. there were plenty of food options nearby, which made it convenient to find something to eat.

I must say that the exterior of the guest house did not leave a good impression. It looked run-down and unkempt from the street, making me a bit skeptical at first.

I had a great time staying near the Old City. The location was perfect, just a short walk away. I loved being able to easily explore the historic sites and take in the atmosphere of the area. The guest lounge was a nice spot to relax and enjoy the free wifi and coffee. The front desk staff were very helpful and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

I was disappointed that there was no breakfast provided during my stay.

The value for money at this budget hotel was amazing, with clean rooms, hot showers, and a great location near Damascus Gate. The staff at the guest house were very friendly and hospitable, making my stay even more enjoyable. The diverse mix of guests from all over the world added to the vibrant atmosphere.

The breakfast option could be improved.

I had the most amazing stay at a guest house in the heart of the Old City. The location was perfect, with shops and points of interest just a short walk away. My room was unexpectedly spacious and clean, complete with a private toilet and shower. The wifi was excellent and I even had a widescreen TV in the lounge right next to my room. The peaceful atmosphere during most nights made for a relaxing stay, and the unlimited tea and coffee in the lounge was a nice touch. With plenty of options for food nearby, I never went hungry. The staff member I interacted with in the mornings was kind and even offered safety advice for late-night walks. a great experience, especially for those who are busy exploring and not spending much time at the guest house.

Convenient Location and Easy access to public transport. We enjoyed the perfect position to explore the city. The "lounge" area was a nice touch with complimentary tea, coffee, and cold water. The price was also very reasonable compared to other options we looked at.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Palm Guest House. The location was fantastic, being close to the old town and in a vibrant part of the city. We enjoyed exploring the lively Muslim area and found some great food stalls nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even giving us a bigger room when they saw we were traveling with a baby. Despite some drawbacks, such as a few rooms lacking windows and a bathroom in poor condition, our overall experience was positive. I would recommend this hotel to others.
